Review Methodology

How we score Pakistani style guides

Every product or style direction in our guides is evaluated against four pillars:

1. Occasion fit — does this work for the stated event (Eid, mehndi, barat, walima, daily pret, modest daywear, university)?
2. Fabric performance — comfort by season, care needs, and drape behaviour. Lawn for summer, organza/silk for festive, khaddar/linen for winter.
3. Value — does the price tier match the use cases? We split outfit budgets into outfit, dupatta, jewelry, shoes, bag, makeup, and tailoring buckets.
4. Accessibility — modesty range, sizing inclusivity, hijab-friendliness where relevant.

Beauty review notes

Makeup and skincare recommendations come with patch-test reminders. We do not make medical claims about skin, scalp, or hair. Sensitivity, undertone, climate, and product interactions vary — consult a qualified professional for skin concerns.

Updating guides

Guides carry a “last updated” timestamp. Seasonal edits (lawn, festive, winter pret) are refreshed each cycle.
